When I discovered blogs I thought I was in heaven. The internet is awesome! There are so many people out there with so many things to say. There are blogs about how to make stuff and how to buy stuff people made themselves. There are blogs that make me laugh. There are blogs that give me encouragement. There are blogs that teach me a simpler way of living and feeling really lavish about it.
I’ve fallen behind on my reading lately just because my real life has been kind of busy and at times chaotic in recent weeks. Ailments of family members, taking care of business, and Christmas preparations have filled my days since the beginning of November. Not being able to read my blogs is like missing a life-long friend.
When I browsed my list of favorites and peeked into them for updates I immediately felt invigorated. Looking into the lives of other people, even if they’re manufactured lives for the sake of readership, makes me think about how I want to live my own life. I want to speed things up and I want to slow things down. I want to adjust priorities and juggle business and leisure time with the expertise of a person who has her act completely together.
In short, catching up on my blogs is a great way to step into the new year. I feel inspired and refreshed. I’m not sure how long this feeling will last, but for now it feels great.
If you want to feel inspired and refreshed and maybe laugh a big, take a look at one, two, or all of the blogs I have listed in my sidebar under Inspiration and Entertainment. Tell them Auntie B sent you. Enjoy!
