Christmas day has come and gone. For some people that might be a relief, for others a day of mourning. I hope those of you in the latter group know that the Twelve Days of Christmas are actually after Christmas, so party on.
I don’t have any pretty pictures or incredibly inspiring words to share today. In fact I’m pretty blank. There was a lot of hustle and bustle in the days preceding Christmas, and Christmas day was so exciting and fun and a very long day at that, so I’m pretty much just kicking back and basking in the afterglow.
I got a bunch of cool presents for Christmas and I’m happy to say I gave a few too. It’s time to go through the gifts I received, one by one, and prepare the annual thank-you-note list and get busy writing those. Do you send hand-written thank-you notes for gifts received? I hope so, because I’m looking for some people to buy the blank note cards I’m adding to my shop in 2012. I like writing a personal note and sending it in the mail more than sending e-mail thank-yous, especially when so much thought was given to the gift. I also like getting nice notes in the mail ~ so refreshing when all I usually get is bills and junk mail.
For now I’m going to take advantage of a lazy day after much preparation and celebrating. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and have big plans for the upcoming new year. Time to open a fresh page in a life you love and deserve!
