The Wall.  What an absolutely disturbing album, and an even more disturbing movie.  A favorite of mine on vinyl and film.  The song I chose for this prompt depicts, to me, the epitome of melancholy ~ a cross between utter despair and utter euphoria.  I sometimes wonder, if I’m actively dying with a bloodstream full of pain killers and/or other drugs, would I like to have this song playing?  Pink Floyd has been one of my favorite bands from very early on.
