The cold wind doth blow
And soon we’ll have snow
What will poor Robin do then?
Poor thing
He’ll sit in a barn
And keep himself warm
And hide his head under his wing
Poor Thing

It’s winter in Minnesota
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Minnesota
When the snow’s up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Minnesota
I’m frozen to the ground!
Yes!
What will poor Robin do? He’ll be rockin’ out of course!
He rocks in the tree tops all day long
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet
No no no! Not in November! He’ll sit in a barn and keep himself warm… Retirement has made you way to hyper.
